A 50-metre level difference between the coastal plateau top and beach is one of the topographic characteristics of the southern Konkan coast. To experience this traverse which skirts along a tidal inlet, a stabilized earth trail is sited amidst existing natural features.
By blending the trail gradient with the slopes, the walk allows intermittent pauses and appreciation of landscape vista. The planting design provides sensory engagement and draws attention to some evanescent aspects of the place.
